This poor woman clearly looks uncomfortable and asks several times not to be on their film, which of course they ignore her request when her face is made visible in this embarrassing video of Vance being unable to connect with regular Americans.
Is this the best video his campaign could find of Vance in the wild? It makes him look like he can't wait to get away from normal every day people.

Yes, because the idea is to close public schools and homeschool.
And they'll close the public libraries too.
I believe that there has been a shift in reading materials for children over the last decade or two. I believe a lot of parents, who are more conservative than the schools, are deeply upset about it. These are the real “culture wars” that we hear about. The Karens vote.
No one is talking about climate change family finances or other long term issues much. It’s books and protecting grade schoolers now. Religious stuff. The shift is happening and Vance is seizing on the malcontent.
We’ll see if there are enough marginalized grumpy voters for him. But they are real, agree or disagree.
You’re describing 2022. I haven’t seen anywhere near as much of the book banning since then. Family finances are the number one issue in this election and culture wars in schools are very far down the list. DeSantis’s slate of Moms for Liberty candidates just lost.
Libraries are being attacked in 2024. It has not gone away.

The only teachers I know who can afford to continue to be teachers are childless.
I know many teachers who have children, but they are typically the second income in the household, not the primary. And there are many teachers who remain teaching because they get perks fo their kids. Like I know several teachers at a local charter school, because they are allowed to enroll their children without going through the lottery. Or one teacher who lives in an area zoned for a weaker school, but works in one of the top schools of the school district and she is allowed to enroll her kids in her school. I know at least 5-6 families like this in our local area.
That said, the first PP was correct that there is no chance that all teachers are parents. Most schools have mixed family teachers on staff with somewhere around the 40-60 break for both parental and childfree staff.
