Why? the expectations for NOVA GA are at an all-time low.
FCV imploded and lost most of their best players to ECNL clubs or one of the two brand new GA teams in the area.
SYC joins McLean to form VA Union, their best players are in Union and then leaves the union and i think a lot of their best players stayed for Fairfax VA Union.
The GA added 2 brand new GA clubs in a market that is oversaturated with ECNL clubs, there is no way they can be expected to compete. This year a majority of the top talent left GA and went to ECNL.
GA Mid Atlantic South will be running through Baltimore (Armour, Celtic or Coppermine) and North has Beadling, Century and SJEB. It's going to be very difficult for any of the NOVA GA clubs to crack the top 5 in any age group (except the FCV 07s - they largely stayed intact)

Arlington you got your wish this weekend good luck, let us know how it went LOL![]()
Arlington 6 Alexandria 2
Arlington 8 SYC 1
Syc 2010 lost to 2-1. Offense was horrible specially striker low soccer IQ and new defensive personnel. They must had demoted 2 best center backs from last year Asian kid and the African kid. Arlington got this 8-1
Please don't do whatever this is. Very very few people care outside of the kids you're denigrating. if you derive some sort of satisfaction from either bragging about your kid's team, or worse, the poor performance of someone else's kids team, you can do better as a person.

Some players playing different positions every time they go in as Coaches are figuring out their season lineups etc
Some parents losing their minds like it's Champions League finals 🤣🤣🤣

Rigggghhhttt, TSJ is just trying to figure things out, that’s why they’re losing by 12 or 14 goals…what’s your excuse going to be when the season starts in a couple weeks?
It was a general observation statement to cover all you lunatics making a big deal about low level little kids preseason scrimmages.
I don't even know what a TSJ is

Totally agree they shouldn’t have entered.
That said, they did. And the revenge is on totally new players and coaches to the club. I didn’t watch the games, but agree with the previous poster that I hope Arlington had their starters on the bench and their backup defenders playing up front in the 2nd half.

Its not technically bracketed-- just having GA/ECNL/MLSN play teams that will not face in normal season. Maybe the question if it is bracketed is why is TSJ playing so high? It is a showcase. Each team is certainly making its case. Also, kinda crappy form from Arlington to run up goals that high.
It's crappy that the TSJFC leadership registered their teams for a tournament they'd be completely outmatched in. The coaches know. What was the Arlington coach supposed to do, tell the players to stop moving the ball forward or to make 20 passes before trying to score - that would of been more of an insult. Maybe the arlington coach played his defenders as forwards and vice versa and they still scored, we don't know...but it's not on Arlington, all the blame should be on TSJFC
