Back to the basement, Joe.
Because the GOP prefers to hvae a totally corrupted court.
And then they wonder why the Dems are coming on strong for the November elections.
"Totally corrupt court" = You didn't get the decisions you want.
Suggest you READ the decisions, not just take the media headline and some journalist's take on rulings.
Also term limits for SCOTUS oushed by a President. Well, that violates Article III, section 1.
Article III
Section 1
The judicial Power of the United States, shall be vested in one supreme Court, and in such inferior Courts as the Congress may from time to time ordain and establish. The Judges, both of the supreme and inferior Courts, shall hold their Offices during good Behaviour, and shall, at stated Times, receive for their Services, a Compensation, which shall not be diminished during their Continuance in Office.
That bolded part means no term limits. Got it?
Clarence Thomas has violated any semblance of good behavior and per Article III is unfit to serve.
And you missed the part where Biden wants to propose this as a CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT - as in changing what the Constitution says, making your "he can't because the Constitution says x" argument moot.

Liberals are made that the supreme court has been bought by billionaires and abandoned their "settled law" and even conservative doctrine to determine that a president is above the law and that the federal government can no longer write and enforce rules that protect the public so as to have clean air, clean water and safe working conditions.
That never happened. Again it is liberals unhappy with not getting their way, not having a Supreme Court that ignores the Constitution to implement their preferred policies.

Only weirdos.

Me too. These are common sense reforms that bring more ethics and accountability to the Supreme Court toward restoring the public's trust, faith and confidence in them - which is currently at rock-bottom levels.

A welcome move. Changes to the Supreme Court are overdue.

What happened to judges serve for life, in the Constitution?
Average lifespan when Constitution was written was 45.
