Because they're trolling everyone, trying to get parents worked up. Most of the games (both wins and loses) for our local teams have been competitive

Why is it so important to you that other people know the games are competitive?

Are you trying to convince yourself that your daughter is better than she really is relative to outside the DMV? Trying to justify your own expense? What are you trying to prove?

In major tournaments and playoffs in all sports there's some luck involved and a lot of things need to go right and sometimes one or two things goes wrong and you're done. Sometime you play against a team that is just hot and clicking. I don't know what you're looking for

Yes. Our teams never get any luck. Refs are all against us. We keep getting scheduled for the worst game times and fields. Everyone is against us.

Who is listed as out that still has a chance? All the local 07s and 08s are out. Union 10s and VDA 11s have 0 points. If you're talking about the "basically out", yes mathematically, as of tonight, they're not eliminated but 99% chance that no team is going to advance to the R16 with 4 points and neither team will win their group with 4 points, so they're basically out.

None of the local 08 teams advanced to the round of 16. They're all out. 09 and 2010 still possible, though.
