Everything except producing college players and pros. But those U15 trophies will last into your kids' 40's and 50's I'm sure.
If a kid leaves your club and pays to go to college and play soccer, you didn't really produce a college player
You just had a kid at your club who went to a college they would have went to anyway regardless of club.
This is another dumb statement. Please tell me how many soccer scholarships there are for men's and women's soccer?

Speaking of downfall, Phillip Gyau is now listed as a U9 coach for next season
Not the U13 MLS Next coach

More like taking early puberty kids and doing nothing with them.

My DS is MLSNext in the area and it’s a small world among kids on the top teams so I have some knowledge as to why kids and families pick certain clubs over others. For the most part, most families seem to have put their kid on the best team that is the best fit for their kid and the family. Kids and parents prefer specific coaches or certain kinds of training and kids have different goals as to their soccer “careers” and these two clubs are sufficiently differently that they are rarely competing for the same type of kids and families.
Just curious, at the MLS Next level then, how would describe the difference of the "goals at to their soccer 'careers'" between SYC & Bethesda players?
I imagine Bethesda families are more focused on using soccer to get their kids into certain colleges, and only few are trying to go pro. SYC has kids going into college too but not like the ones Bethesda kids are getting into.
FWIW, I don’t think what colleges kids are getting to is a reflection of how good they are as a player.
