Go look at EV sales (exclude gov) and tell me they are not duds.

But, I don't think we should be giving Chinese companies the business. No way. They're waging a quiet war with us. What's wrong with us, that we're pretending it ain't happening?

That is exactly what I want as well. I need a new car. I wish I could find something affordable that supplements gasoline with a small electric battery. Sounds very practical. I'm looking at American cars because it's less expensive to maintain them over imported vehicles.

Ah yes, Americans are just clamoring for a Ford, Dodge or Chevy EV. The best-selling "EV" Jeep is a hybrid, which uses both gas and a small electric battery; same for the most sought after Toyotas. That's what consumers want.
