What's for Biden to address? The best thing Biden could do is broker a hostage release in exchange for some sort of extended ceasefire.

But the protests happening in university's are on private property or state property. It's for university presidents or state governors to address.

Personally, I don't think setting up human tent villages in the middle of a campus is really all that necessary to express one's 1st Amendment rights. These students can protest all day between classes and then go home to their dorm rooms. They don't have the right to interrupt the functioning of a college campus.

Those distractions would do NOTHING to change the dynamic controlled by Israel. And you know that. Fight how? There is zero indication Biden has any interest in what this segment of his electorate has to say. Republicans are trying to take advantage of the protest situation at these high-profile universities in order to stoke culture war divisions before the election. And there’s probably also some hope that they can influence current very liberal/leftist administrations to resign and be replaced by more conservative administrators … to what end, I don’t know, probably not possible at the Ivies or other elite colleges, probably possible at big state universities. But it’s mostly to show up and bring attention to a culture war topic.

I think even before 10/7, Biden was on the road to losing. Inflation has been on the rise his entire term in office and so has war (Ukraine, Gaza). I can’t wait till he leaves!
