Disagree. Northwestern & U Chicago are both outstanding schools full of highly intelligent, hard-working,motivated kids. No need to try one upmanship with respect to these schools.

@Usc and West Point have good fight songs. Interesting factoid, Holy Cross is undefeated against the Georgia Bulldogs -3 wins for HC and 0 for UGA last game 1939 HC 13 -UGA 0. Only other serires that might rival that is UChicago vs Notre Dame,

Notre Dame has by far The best fight song Michigan fight song top5 Ga Tech ramblin wreck is up there. but based on number of games played against The New England ivies no obe cones close to Holy Cross. Colgate has played a boatload of games against Cornell but HC is the all-time winner.

They were called the Ivies 25 years before the league was formed

The term was used as early as 1933, and it became official in 1954 following the formation of the Ivy League athletic conference. It’s always been the same 8 schools and it will always be.
