If these kids are still suffering, four years later from PTSD, then I suggest their parents seek therapy for them.

Scrapers would be for sale at all groceries, targets, Walmarts, gas stations … likely on sale too as nearing end of season. Also after 9, just use credit card for this amount if anything crusty but more likely just windshield wipers.
I’m a little worried that a “newish” teacher was not able to problem solve this on her own.

This points out the issues of a county wide system. What is a good call for some is a bad one for others. My kid normally leaves at 7:35 and would have arrived at school just as the snow started here. Now she’ll leave at 9:35, after this has been going on a while (my weather radar says it will continue at least that long), so conditions will be worse for her due to the delay. We’d have been better off here with an on time start.
