It will take them at least six months to hire a new super, maybe even a year.
Jack Smith will run the "search." It will done in 6 weeks.

Yeah, she’s retiring but she wouldn’t want the super role.
Dr. Peggy Pugh is the current Chief Academic Officer, so maybe she’d be an interim choice while they look for a permanent candidate.
Pugh has solid credentials. Glad that we have a permanent administrator already in the system who could take over.

No, a former administrator will be brought back because they know how to do a better job of hiding sexual harassment.
So is that why Navarro was brought back by McKnight? Thinking she will be out and they will put Navarro at top, a person who has been a BOE President and was on the MoCo Council. Definitely not an outsider. Oh MCPS.
Navarro launched the "Restorative Justice" program in 2016.

But I don't think that's why Navarro was brought back. McKnight and Navarro signed off on a lot of CFP and DofEd complaints together when Navarro was the Chief Academic Officer. My guess is McKnight is worried someone will go through the old files if she's ousted. Two of the complaints in particular were way worse than this Principal sexual complaint. I'm guessing she's worried if those old records hit the news?
