Go to hell maga. I would happily trade the worst tyranny anyone could imagine for getting rid of gun scum like you and murders.
We get it, you long for a police state.

Honest question: why is that? The AR-15 is basically an M-16 with the full auto disabled, and the M-16 was the primary battlefield firearm for the U.S. armed forces for many, many years.

Easy now, Bertha. You can still kill your unborn son or daughter in utero.

What’s the difference? Most children will end up being murdered by guns while they’re in school anyway, so we might as well end all pregnancies. It’s more humane than letting them live 6-7 years and then have their little arms and legs blown off by ar15 bullets or have their lungs blown out of their little torsos by 9 caliber guns.

You are a weird troll

Maybe when the field of battle consisted of muskets and ball-shot cannon.

Every other country that passed landmark gun ban legislation after a massacre seems to have started at a much lower baseline of guns in circulation. Even if we repealed the 2nd amendment tomorrow and banned every single type of firearm besides maybe single shot hunting rifles, how long would it take to confiscate and destroy all 430 million guns? Decades? And we have probably 20% of the country being adamantly opposed to any kind of gun ban... they won't comply. Are we completely stuck? It's depressing.

It took a generation or more to get where we are and it will take that long to get back. And the gun lobby will fight every step of the way, just like the tobacco lobby. What you can do is vote in candidates that support gun control and support gun control policies. And refuse to be intimidated by the minority or people in this county who are gun crazies.

Those gun control politicians are the best gun salesmen. That is how we got to 30 million sold a year from 10 million in 2000

No, it's advertising and continual scare-mongering. But you just go on thinking you are such an intelligent, original thinker.

Um, no. Hard pass.

Signed,

A strong proponent of gun control.

They need to be grandfathered out at this point. Or being recouped by buybacks. There is nothing else to do at this point. This has been the cae for a long time now and only gets worse with each passing year.

Are you sure it is a minority of Americans? NBC poll finds 52% of American homes have a gun - https://www.nbcnews.com/meet-the-press/meetthepressblog/poll-gun-ownership-reaches-record-high-american-electorate-rcna126037
