Cheering on all these seniors! I have one too, and they truly are a great group of kids. So many have gotten into wonderful schools.

This could be my DS. Also in at William & Mary!

Congratulations!!! Let's celebrate both of these boys! Hopefully they will meet each other.

Congrats! Great school!

As a parent of a student who is looking like a solid B+ kid (and will be applying next year), can I ask which schools these are?

DP and same here. I would love to hear the schools that the solid B+ kid got in. When reading these threads, I feel like one has to be like an Einstein to even attend a university these days.

The Washington College, Wash and Jeff, Allegheny, Sweet Briar admits were all in this territory, and those were my kids's stats. Didn't go TO. I did a lot of research, my copy of ctcl is very dogearred. I tried to ignore prestige and just look at SLAC with rigor and dedication within driving distance of the DMV, more or less.

Last year my B+ ADHD girl had a similar list, + Juniata and SMCM (wanted small school with good environmental science program). Got into all schools with merit and is doing well now at Juniata.

This is my daughter. Now a sophomore and we will def. look at Juniata. Thank you. Also going to look hard at other on the Colleges That Change Lives.

Waiting on a few more schools (2 VA publics, 1 PA public and a small MA private) and has 1 more private to apply to. Still a fight to the finish line for HS, but at least she does have some 4 year options.

Big congrats to your daughter. Her hard work, and your supportive parenting, have paid off!
👍

From one of the PPs with an ADHD son: I celebrate with you and your daughter!

Wow! That’s fabulous!
Unhooked?

Thanks! We’re beyond thrilled!!!
Unhooked male with high stats (1520 SAT, 4.6 weighted GPA, high rigor, 4s and 5s on APs, one international award, one regional award, solid but not spectacular ECs). Lots of DI — he really loves Davidson.

It is a great school (and cute town!)

Congratulations
