Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:People on DCUM are crazy and exhausting. Let it go already. Is APE relevant now?
They just elected a school board member and their leadership are now leading APS advisory committees, so yes.
Those are one year roles. Like Youngkin, they'll be done next year. The Republlc will survive.

Yes, I spoke at SB meeting too during that time. I do look forward to seeing if she can make good on all her promises. She held everyone else up to a really high standard. Hope she can meet it. Excited about all the candidates. It'll be nice that there is an actual race this time.

The virtual program was a big fail. But IMO a reasonable thing to pursue at the time. And the timing on the health insurance sucked big time but there were county constraints out of their control. Maybe they could have given more time off for changing providers?

Then APEs started jumping in to try to rewrite past history. That’s what derailed the thread.
Is APE running a candidate? Any of the 4 connected to APE?
I like Kathleen Clarke best.
Clark seems best. Interested in Zuraya and Chen. Zuraya’s website is locked. What do people know about her?
Some Dems have already endorsed Tapia-Hadley and she has kids in APS, but I don't think she's been involved much in APS.
She has not been involved. Clarke will be the first choice of APS parents. zuraya clearly looking for the AC/DC machine to carry her water.
Clark will be amazing. I wish we had two of her.
The other three don't seem qualified or invested. While I think the Hispanic population deserves representation, I really dislike the arrogance of sailing in without any involvement in APS. Yes I'm talking about Zuraya. It's just like CDT and we all know how that turned out.
