Curious to know if DCU recruits any players from these open try out? Is this all for show?

Some teams use these pre-season events for working of specific things. They aren't putting their best 11 on the field with a goal to win.

Anyone who knows the DC United U14's and watched them this weekend would have easily seen that it wasn't business as usual.
Probably the same scenario for all their teams.

Midfielders, Wingers, Forwards, CB's were all mixed around.
Training pitch stuff.

Do you know if either team share their game videos and have url?

Humiliating loss anyway you paint it.

You tell them buddy!
2:1 is humiliation by any standards

Who cares if it was a training scrimmage.

You would like it to be apparently.

You do know you can't actually make something humiliating for someone else?

DCU, played mostly with the 2011's. Pipeline tied with ASA on Sunday.

How many 2011s are on the 2010 team?

Saturday Pipeline won 2-1 against DCU and then tied ASA (which hasn’t had the best season, ASA looked better than they have in a while) 2-2. Looked like same Pipeline kids to me. Sunday’s ref was over the top, gave out 2 red cards (1 for each team) for barely anything but kept giving warnings to same kids for other things. Made zero sense.

It went from shoving to swinging arms (not barely anything), so the red cards were warranted.
Another PL kid after getting a yellow went in with both feet and studs up. He too should have been shown the exit

Alexandria obviously was working on playing out the back and stuck to it the whole game. Even after they made a mistake and Pipeline scored.
But that's what these events are for. Kudos to their discipline.

We were on the sidelines and heard a lot of trash talking between PL and ASA players.

Pipeline 2009 have always been super impressive. Even after some left for DCU and Philadelphia. So what’s Pipelines secret? Fewer clubs near Baltimore? Coaching?
We’ve lost to them through the years and I have nothing bad to say. Kids play clean and well. Parents are fine.

I know U15 did not play. Pipeline 09s are the #1 boys team in the US, and deservedly so. Go see them play if you haven't.

I didn't have that impression. But I do think DC United underperformed across all age groups over the weekend. 4-2-2.
