+1. Or black. No one thinks white women look a decade younger.
Plenty of white women do. The only advantage other races have is melanin which blocks out UV rays. Hate to shatter your self serving fantasy but so long as a white person stays out of the sun they’ll age just as well if not better
Well duh, obviously melanin is a huge advantage other races have, which is why they age better. People can’t or won’t avoid the sun entirely so white people are never going to age as well, and certainly not “better”![]()
I see women of color all the time who are wrinkle-free but are obviously in their 50s and older because of all the other changes that happen to your body and hair. I don’t think melanin is the cure-all that some on here think it is. You might not have wrinkles but that doesn’t mean you look 10 years younger than your age.

I am a healthy-thin weight (like a size 8, medium), have no gray hair and don't dye my hair - it's cut in a long bob, use sunscreen regularly and have very few wrinkles, get good sleep. I keep up with clothing trends but don't overdo that.
But I agree that it's mainly heredity and your perceived lifestyle.
Unless you are very tall, size 8 is not thin, ever, never, ever ever.
DP. At 5'9 a size 8 puts me in healthy/thin. When I'm a 6, people try to feed me.
Obnoxious. I’m also 5’9 and wear size 8 pants but smaller shirt sizes and dress sizes and I’m thin, like people comment I wish I were skinny like you thin. Like previous poster, if I slim down even more people think I’m sick or ask me to eat.
Size 8s look fine and healthy but it's not thin. I've been a 2 for the last 20 years -- I feel thin. People don't try to feed me, I just look fit. For the 6 months post partum with my second kid, I needed to buy pants that were more like a 6/size 27 waist and I did not feel thin.
