Ouch. You weren't lying. I was curious so I looked them up on the EDP schedule and it looks like they only have 3 girls teams in EDP:
6th place out of 6 - Virginia Revolution SC VRSC 09G Black (VA)
5th place out of 5 - Virginia Revolution SC VRSC 08G Black (VA)
5th place out of 8 - Virginia Revolution SC VRSC 07G Black (VA)
But here's the *really* crazy thing. Parents are paying a club fee of $2750 plus a team fee of $500 - $600 for that.

Problem is, GA would be take a major hit adding a Club like VRSC. The existing girls teams are atrocious as compared to even bad GA teams and the rest of the US outside our DMV box would be like WITAF! The only way that happens is if STJ were to sell the program and FCV is rebranded to VRSC on the girls side. This means BP would also have to leave. There is no other way. If STJ is making money off of FCV, than it’s not going to happen but if STJ is losing money on the program, I guess it’s possible.
Regardless, I feel for the families involved especially if BP is not transparent come time for tryouts. I mean, what do you do as parent if you are in this situation???

Why would anybody go to Loudoun? All of their ECNL teams are terrible.
Not the girls, 09s, 08s and 07s are quality teams. 07s have a nice commitment list already.
Seems you have no idea what you are talking about.
Yes, and a big reason for that is because of this NVA merger. They could not develop their own players in house and needed to draw more competitive players in to compete against stronger ECNL teams. Our team beat their 06G ECNL team in a tournament. Loudoun also was not transparent about the NVA plan and upset a lot of parents who had players who would have moved up or not given the opportunity. They didn't answer any questions during the Town Hall and purposefully ignored parents who had pointed questions about the merger.
the merger did nothing! you really think an ECRL player can move up and be committed to DI?

And my guess is that a majority of the GA girls would come over. This may also be cheaper move than trying to buy GA from TSJ.

The results are worse, but more importantly, they just don’t play well. CC might be good, but he’s not a miracle worker. How does it make sense to bring in a guy who has been a TD at a far better club and not give him the same job? It’s not like Clyde is their TD.
And partnering with DC United? Good luck with that. That’s going to be a one way relationship.
