+1 as a pretty moderate D who once registered R I checked out her history simply to avoid Trump.
Zero chance I’m voting for her based on right to choose alone.

Don't underestimate the appeal of mentally stable.
We have very mentally unstable on one side. And a physically unstable geriatric on the other.
A sane 51 year old would win a lot of votes just for being a sane 51 year old. And if she does somehow win the nomination, she would run the table on Biden. She'd win in a landslide.
I disagree with Haley on a lot of things, but I like her temperament. The bar is so low that being reasonably healthy and rational is enough to win the presidency.
I agree with all the above but I don't think she'll win. I think change is a very very hard concept for human beings. She is a 51 woman running on the GOP ticket. That right there is change. If she does win the GOP nomination, I just don't know that she'll be able to win the whole country. As much as I would like to believe she holds the advantage over old man Biden, Biden is tried and true, an old white man incumbent and the fact is, as much as I'm not happy to vote for him, I can't abide by GOP policies on abortion/guns/etc. I don't know what I would do. I think in this country there are certain powerful people who end up truly electing POTUS. I'm not sure she can sway them.

Because the both sides people are tribal Republicans and they like to think of themselves as good people. Supporting Donald Trump rips away that veneer and they are hoping against hope that they don’t have to vote for Trump again.

These are people who hate Trump and voted for Biden. I think Democrats are in denial and in serious trouble. There are many Biden voters who are going to sit home and others will vote for Haley.
I'm a D all the way - and I think Haley could very well win if she's the GOP nominee. And I'd hate a lot of what she does as president, and I think we'd survive it as a country. I am not TERRIFIED over the prospect of her being president. I just wouldn't like it.
I think Trump's chances are worse, but he's a much bigger risk to our existence if he wins. Plus he's just so exhausting. Every second of him is exhausting and terrifying in equal measure. I cannot bear the thought of another Trump presidency.
I'd rather Haley be the nominee and risk the chance of her winning than Trump, even if his chances of winning are worse.
No Trump loyalist is voting for Haley, they’ll stay home.
I swear, the level of denial of Trumps hold is incredible. He’ll be the nominee even if in jail.
He'd probably even write a bestseller about "his struggle" before his return to power.

Liberal leaning suburban women aren’t idiots. We’ve read the Handmaids Tale. We saw what happened when the GOP stuck the real Handmaiden ACB on the court. We recognize that plenty of our own are nothing more than self-hating Pickmeshas.
Give us a fiscal conservative with an emphasis on families and education and minding your own business, and the GOP might get somewhere. Sadly, they don’t have much of those left. They’ve been run out by the fascists and the cult freaks.
