He staked his political future on the outcomes of tonight. He’s done. What a swing and a miss. Between this and his embarrassing comment that the midterms would “send a message” to Biden it’s plainly obvious he doesn’t have his finger on the pulse of the electorate.

Clearly the fearmongering about crime and trannies failed. What phantom menace will Republicans try to scare voters about in 2024?

There are always brown people, invading the country, and taking away everyone’s jobs. The old standby

Just wait till the same day registration votes come in from VA HD-41. And HD-97 is still in play! All my calls and door knocking were worth it. And I'm not stopping. 2024, look out.

Thank you thank you thank you from someone who wasn’t able to volunteer this year because my dad has been in and out of the hospital for two months. You and everyone like you make a difference. ❤️🇺🇸

(I hope your dad’s path, whichever direction it is heading, is smooth.)

Tonight’s results show that voters hate Republicans more.

People need to REALLY stop listening to polls and pundits. Look at Real results. Like votes, money raised, volunteer enthusiasm. Canvassing for VA, I met a group of (mostly older women) from Massachusetts who flew/drove/trained to Virginia knock doors! Women are NOT going back into the closet/kitchen/50s whatever analogy you want. Most women know that Biden is stopping us from slipping into authoritarianism and an extreme GOP who want a federal abortion ban.

These polls serve no purpose other than get clicks and have pundits on TV talking about how BAD THIS IS FOR BIDEN/DEMOCRATS.

Next time you get stressed about the election, volunteer.

I hate to reference Palmer Report, but he pointed out that the much quoted NYT/Siena poll is a little… off. They have African American voters going for Trump at 22%. 22%, does that sound legit? There was more, but basically the poll and the accompanying article was a great example of lying with numbers and yellow journalism.

And as we see tonight… people don’t want what the GOP is selling.

This is disappointing, but not surprising. We've seen similar actions by Republican controlled state legislatures and statehouses in Mississippi (medicaid expansion) and Florida (restoration of voting rights).

The democrat is orthodox, which explains it- but I grew up orthodox and you don’t see orthodox democrats every day anymore.

Guess it wasn't so smart of him to announce right before the election that he would sign an abortion ban if it came to his desk.
