You are correct but I think he’s the only one who can make it happen. Without Trump a good portion of his devotees stay home and drink Milwaukee’s Best. Trump was born in 1946 so he’s only 77 by the way.
And I disagree. Republicans are good soldiers. They would vote for Ham Sandwich (R). They’re literally happily voting for Trump in the primary, a man who is guilty of rape, fraud and tried to stage a coup. If Trump dies, they’ll just vote for the next, most horrible person possible on the list. Or the GOP will just pick one.

This isn’t Ancient Greece. We don’t have democracy. We have a REPUBLIC. We focus way too much on getting all sorts of people voting, and not nearly enough on who should be in charge.

The only sure mark of a fascist is gun control. Fascists' can't exist with 700 million guns in the hands of 300 million people. It can only work with gun confiscation. Literally the only clue given by emerging fascist is fear of guns in the hands of people they want to kill.

No one has an issue with guns where hunting and defense of personal property is concerned.
People have an issue with assault weapons that have no other purpose but to kill other humans and people have issue with mentally ill having access to guns.

You have no logic. Fascists want citizens unarmed or weakly armed. Anti-fascists want citizens of all political stripes to have the right to own weapons fascists will fear.

They do not amplify any messaging that might make people aware of the GOP’s fascism. Go search Project 2025 on Washington Post: there’s nothing revealed in the search function (though if you google it, you can find an article that way). Go search it on NYT: there’s nothing. Go look at NBC News: only MSNBC has covered it. CBS News: nothing.
FIFTY conservative think tanks have come together to create a plan to destroy the federal government and it’s not blaring front page news? It’s time to accept that the “mainstream” media wants the fascist GOP in power.
