Violent crimes happen more than abortions either about 33% more violent crimes than abortions occurring every year in the United States.

If you look at overall crimes, there are 17 crimes committed for every abortion in the United States every year.

Defund the police and the occurrence of violent and non violent crimes continues to rise. Implement reasonable abortion restrictions and abortions continue to occur although the numbers will most likely decrease.

So for those that make data driven decisions it is an easy one to make.

^ My thoughts exactly! And most abortions (> 95 % ) are preventable just use protection, iud, pills, vasectomy, etc but crime is not. Sometimes you are at the wrong place at the wrong time. My vote is for crime prevention and pregnancy prevention (get an IUD ladies or vasectomy brothers)

No. You don’t get to decide what I do with my body. Period.

Unless it's a vaccine.

I didn’t force you to get (or not) get a vaccine against your will.

You (the collective “you”) absolutely did. It was the only way I could keep my job, or get another job, and be able to earn a living. If I didn’t submit to your vaccine demands, I couldn’t go to public events like concerts or games, get into various restaurants, be voluntarily admitted to a hospital for elective treatment/care/surgery or receive life saving medical care like an organ transplant, I couldn’t attend college which I’d already paid for, and a myriad of other things I couldn’t do during 2021-2022 without showing that stupid little white card.

Don’t even try to claim that people weren’t forced to get vaccinated. We were all around back then. We know better. And your claiming otherwise makes you the foulest type of liar there is - a gaslighter. Because we all lived through it - and now you try to convince us that never happened.

It’s really disgusting that you are equating vaccine requirements for jobs/colleges (that have existed forever) with laws making abortion a FELONY.

No one FORCED you to get vaccinated. It was always a choice for you. Maybe one that you didn’t like but it was always a choice. GMAFB.

Show us, at any given point in time (outside of healthcare) that people had to show their vaccination status to their employers to keep their jobs. Keep in mind that the federal government required these forced vaccines on anyone that did work with the federal government, so that encapsulated over 80 MILLION workers. From linemen to Walmart stockers.
Show me one time, that these types of jobs required proof of any type of vaccine to stay employed.

DP
Me. I did. I work for a Fortune 500 company based in Tysons. If I didn’t show proof of vaccination my career there was over. Let’s not whitewash the coercion of the previous two years. I still have some very hard feelings about having to get that vaccine, pointless as it was. I got covid 7 weeks after getting my second booster. Wife got the Pfizer and is still having weird reactions 17 months later.

Man you really do have issues. You’re also an idiot. Thanks to the vaccine you got covid and it didn’t kill you. As for your wife, I’m sure she’s fine and she apparently never got covid herself.

Revisionist history at work.

https://www.cnbc.com/2021/11/04/osha-federal-vaccine-mandate-covers-84-million-workerswhat-to-know.html

So you were choosing between getting vaccinated or getting tested regularly?

And now you’re equating this to forcing women to continue a pregnancy and give birth?

Sit TF down.

I'd say that it is less onerous to travel over to the next state for a quick abortion (or heaven forbid, be responsible with your sex health) than getting tested weekly to keep your job.

WTF?

No, a nasal swab once a week is infinitely easier than driving several hours, each way, finding accommodations, finding and scheduling a provider, having multiple appts, having a vaginal ultrasounds, having anesthesia, having minor surgical procedure, and having a friend go with you fit all of that.

My kids did a nasal swab daily to play sports and they weren’t crybabies about it. It took 1 minute.

You’re still soooo mad about this 1 minute swab _years later_ that you want to force women to carry pregnancies and give birth (both potentially life threatening) against their will.

That is majorly fcked up.

Fun fact, after Rowe v Wade was dismantled and sent to the states, abortion rates went UP. So much for your forced procreation BS.

No one who rages on and on about vaccines in 2023 has any credibility whatsoever. Do you think the 2020 election was stolen too?

Retreat to your bunker, lunatic.

No sweetheart. You don’t get to pretend that the tyrannical insanity that you demanded be forced on everyone in the name of vaccine madness is soooooo yesterday now. As if it’s ancient history.

Some of us are still dealing with the life changing consequences- lost careers, etc - of not getting the shots. Others are dealing with the life changing consequences having gotten the shot when they’d preferred not to - miscarriages, vascular reactions … death.

You don’t get to pretend this is all ancient history now and water under the bridge, you psycho.

Why dafuq are people prattling on about vaccines? Everyone knows they saved us from the pandemic, the vaccines are a miracle of modern science and have improved public health overall. This is just stipulated fact and is neither a campaign issue nor up for debate in any other context.

+1
People forget how many died every single week back in 2020 before vaccines. Do you not remember how in NYC there were body bags in the hallways of hospitals as burials could not keep up with the deaths? I do. Want to know why? One of my friends - one of the most loving and kind people I will ever know - was in one of those orange body bags. Vaccines saved us whether you agreed with them or not.

If you lost your job it wasn’t because of vaccines.

Correct. People lost jobs for refusing vaccines. I know three of them.

The vaccine haters are sooo weird and unhinged. Of course mistakes were made, but they were made in the context of battling a once in a century pandemic that ultimately killed over 1 million Americans. Why wouldn’t public health officials and the public itself want to err on the side of caution? It was a no-win situation for the entire friggin planet for Pete’s sake.
