I've invested a lot in this city and am deeply disappointed in our post-2020 downturn (and also I'm outraged by the idiots who celebrate it).
DP and I don't celebrate it. Instead I just expected it to come back around again. It's DC after all. It's dysfunctional at the core. You can pretty it up but at some point the facade gets old an peels away. Don't worry, it will get patched up again and things will be better for a while.

It was a stunt, but one of the few good things that the late mayor-for-life did was one night to have MPD herd a number of prostitutes across the 14th Street bridge into Virginia. Barry said that's where a lot of the johns lived so he was moving the illicit business to another jurisdiction. It would have been hilarious to see the prostitutes staggering across the bridge in their oversized heels, trailed by slow moving DC police cruisers.
Maybe Bowser can push out today's sex workers on e-bikes.
After Bowser gives every prostitute a free $2000 e-bike. And then spends another $8 million for a new bike lane to ride them in.

I remember watching the news that night in college. They were marching them across the bridge until a photographer showed up then they stopped. Ch 4 News (they always got the nasty news first) had videos of the hos sitting down on the “curb” rubbing their tired and blistery feet. Ho shoes don’t look like they’re good for a ho hike. You were right. It was hilarious!

How can you tell for sure if it's a prostitute or Lauren Sanchez?

To be honest, I couldn't tell for sure - the lighting wasn't all that great but she was a brunette, had the cartoonishly large lips and the outfit was EXACTLY the same - did you see her too?!
