Absolutely, Visi is stronger in adherence to its MAGA principles
I see this repeated incessantly. Would love to hear your rationale.
We are an African American family at Visi and have not observed this firsthand. Although there are two well known politician's kids attending the school, who we know come from MAGA families - our daughter has just never met or interacted with them or heard any stories about them and my DD is very popular and plugged in socially. I will say that many of the girls are very wealthy, although honestly, I would not call them snobby/racist/unwelcoming and we are fine tuned to suss this out.
What does MAGA even mean these days? Is it just a synonym for conservative? You'll definitely encounter plenty of conservatives at both SR and VISI, especially among the dads.
You are responding to my post. When I say MAGA politicians, they are either in the administration or nominated to the judiciary by the occupant in the White House.
So apparently does Maga does now extend to all conservatives. Yeah, there are a lot of those at both schools. Sorry to break the news.

Visi is more conservative
SR is more liberal
Both have families that are from various ends of the spectrum including prominent/not prominent families.
Visi has more legacy students (and therefore, more legacy moms/grandmothers).
Both have strong athletics and are relativevly evenly matched. Each has significant number of athletic recruits in most years -- some girls use it as a hook to get into better schools, others go to schools that are strong in that sport.
Both have strong academics. Visi seems to have more homework. This is probably because of a different schedule. Some students have strong preferences regarding the different schedule patterns.
College admissions. Both tend to have up years and down years in high ranking colleges. Some of that is driven by student preferences since for some cohorts top students are looking at schools that are not high status by DCUM standards with students preferring schools like BC, ND, Wake Forest, Tulane over other schools. So it's hard to tell from Instagram posts whether one school had "better" college admissions. Especially since many SR and Visi families believe good college admissions should be about a student going to a school that they want to attend that is a good fit vs one that is DCUM high status.

If you want to experience the heart of SR, I always recommend attending any event where Mr. McCluskey is speaking, his passion for the school and its community really shows what a Sacred Heart education is all about.
Ultimately, we chose SR because of the intentional way they “build” the girls. Their commitment to social action is extraordinary and teaches compassion, grace, and how to live meaningfully within their city. The girls are not viewed as academic numbers, but as whole people who are known and cared for.
Athletically, the program is incredible — with so many teams winning ISL championships this year. Good luck to the Gators today!
Another aspect we really appreciated is the approach to freshman social life. Instead of formal freshman dances, they host a fun, informal mixer with Prep, bounce houses, activities, and no dates required. During our visit they explained that freshmen often aren’t socially ready for the pressure of formal dances, and I loved that they prioritize the girls’ well-being. The class is still invited to the Gonzaga freshman dance later, so they get the experience in a more relaxed way.
In the end, we chose SR over Visitation not only for the strong academics and athletics, but for the formation of the whole person the environment we believe will help our daughter grow into a confident, compassionate, and caring young woman.
You sound like YOU are part of the admissions team. Only the director is new. Everyone else has been in the admissions department. Maybe you should learn more about the school before trying to advertise.
If you really are a current family, tell us one thing the US Head has done for you since being admitted besides talk.
