PP who dated one for 7 years here. I didn’t find many a-holes among them. They are obsessive, though! Weighing bike parts, always upgrading something, researching rides, traveling to rides… My ex met a cycling chick after I broke up with him and I think (hope) they are very happy.

He’s up an out by 6 am and usually done by 10. It’s become a big part of his social life. He was new to the area when we met and didn’t know too many people. I am jealous a bit that he found a physical outlet he really likes, and wish I could also could find such a passion. I don’t know where I’m going with this. Is four hours on a weekend too much?

No one needs to exercise this much to stay slim, strong, and healthy. It's pure psychological obsession.
