Strongly disagree with this. You really think this is worse than friends being shipped off to Vietnam and dying? Or what about what people experienced during WW2. The average American was greatly affected by shortages and there was a constant fear of being invaded or losing the war.
I’d argue social media and constant news is a problem, but it’s not 9/11 that’s so dramatically different from events that happen almost every decade.
