The difference is that Weiss is under a cloud of suspicion because not only did he allow the statute of limitations to expire on some of Hunter Biden's most egregious crimes, but he crafted a deal that would have given him blanket immunity.

Okay Sherlock. Weiss fit the bill and then he didn’t fit the bill. So he fit the bill when it was convenient for the republicans and their hit jobs, but then when he was towing the republican to-do list line, Weiss no longer fit the bill. Got it.![]()

2. This is a day late and a dollar short.
Statute of limitations is almost up. Stall tactic.
+1000 All they need is a good forensic account to put the dots together. But it might be too late to unravel all the transactions.
Ultimately, there were no transactions to Joe Biden. His income and reporting is fully accounted for, unless you believe he was committing tax fraud on the eve of his presidency.
Really? According to who?
According to his publicly available tax filings that go back several decades.
Um, maybe he didn’t report that income?![]()
Yes. That’s very likely. People with lifetime careers in public service and scrutinized tax records are known to do that 🙄
Hunter didn’t set up those she’ll companies to funnel cash to the “Big Guy” for no reason.
And what person who spends their entire life in public service has the means to buy a beach house, classic cars, and maintain an expensive primary residence? Don’t offer some malarkey about book deals. Nobody is that interested in Joe Biden.
Posted several times in other threads, but 1) he bought the dupont mansion in wilmington for a song because it was totally in disrepair and he spent 30 years getting it up to snuff, and then sold it when he was finishing his public service as VP, he bought another house and also signed a book deal, which between the two, gave him the means to buy the then 1.5 million dollar beach house (now probably worth about 4 million) - he also had speaking engagements. All of this was reported in his taxes, which are online, if you care to read them.
Do you know what isn't in his taxes? Any proceeds from said LLCs because why? He wasn't involved with them.

Well he earned 16.5 million dollars on book deals and speeches after he left the White House in 2016. As to the beach house, you’re being disingenuous at best. There are government employees in DC earning far less than Biden with a Delaware beach house. And his house was purchased well before the markup in the housing industry.

That was a year ago--there may have been some who called for it more recently, but the clamor was a year ago. That was BEFORE the Oversight Committee began to find so much troubling evidence.
To appoint the SC now--when the plea agreement failed because of an astute judge, indicates that this will put the "investigation" behind closed doors and suppress the story.
My prediction: Joe will not run but will pardon Hunter or arrange for his Dem successor to pardon him.

Anonymous wrote:Here’s the thing. Hunter has a very good chance of getting acquitted, particularly if Weiss tries to bring these tax charges as felonies. It seems to have flown under the radar, but in the same years that Hunter claimed inflated business expenses he also overstated his income. That’s going to make a great story for sloppy accounting instead of willful tax evasion. And the sole piece of evidence of the possibly unconstitutional guy charge is Hunters book. Pretty flimsy. I’m going to love seeing Comers head explode if Hunter gets acquitted.

Garland did exactly what the right has been clamoring for. So sit down.
