I don’t look like anyone famous but apparently I’m very recognizable. During Covid I was wearing a mask and big sunglasses and at a beach town when my brother in laws’ father, who I’ve met a few times, picked me out of the crowd and came over to talk to me. Recently I was at a cvs and a dad I hadn’t seen since my kids preschool years over 5 years ago instantly recognized me even with my mask on.

In the late 80’s I was at the White Flint Mall when several teenage girls starting pointing at me and squealing “it’s the girl from Weird Science” (Kelly Lebrock).

There’s one actress I got a lot a number of years ago and it turns out we’re second cousins. Our common ancestors had a ton of kids and a lot of us have this look.

I get this too. Or people asking “Did I see you [on the metro/at this restaurant/on the street] the other day?” When it definitely wasn’t me. I just have one of those faces.

I look like Reese Witherspoon, and people comment on this regularly.

Yes, I have a pointy chin too, and I hate it. But we also have the same eyes, coloring, and face shape. Legally Blonde came out when I was in college and people would tell me all the time that I looked like Reese.

I still hate my chin, though.

I’ve gotten Amy Adams probably 10 times over the last decade. I’m blond - no one was mistaking me for her - but random people saying “has anyone ever told you, you look like Amy adams”. I don’t see it at all
