I used to get chocolate covered shortbread-like cookies made by Cadbury's at a drug store (Drug Fair) back in the day. They were about 2" square and sold in little packets in the candy section. Haven't seen them in eons, but man they were good.

This thread is about what old-fashioned / old-school candies you like in 2023. What ones do you still like even if they aren’t still popular? Hubba Bubba? Maybe they are still popular a la Hershey bars?

I can’t wait to be a grandmother and have a candy dish. My own grandmother’s is sitting n a cabinet just waiting for my moment. My mom is not a candy dish kind of grandma but you better believe I am going to be!

My kids were thrown some at our July 4th parade. It was a fun throwback teaching them how to not mess it up by getting the paper wet!

I don't think anyone has mentioned maple sugar candy? I buy that stuff whenever I see it. They sometimes had it at the LLBean in Tysons, but that is gone now.
