Where is the fun in that? Kids like to wear a full kit. Sure, kids don’t NEED it but why not? They don’t need to do lots of stuff - elaborate halloween costumes, room decorations, fashionable clothes, Taylor Swift concerts. But it’s fun so we do it.
My kids don’t do it for fun, they take the kit seriously as was taught by their coach bc of how to reflects on the team. Yeah, I know someone’s going to chime in how amazing their kid is and he wears whatever she/he wants. But the reality is that the best players are serious about every little thing abt soccer including the kits.
Anonymous wrote:If this is on soccer.com there is a way to get the website to allow you to order individual items without buying the entire kit at once. I used it last year when I needed to space our purchasing full kits for two kids. A parent on another team who’s a web developer figured it out.

That’s the Bethesda I know. “Slaves will save me $37 bucks!”
Your are silly, like there is any difference between the $40 and the $3 dollar slides... both made in China or some other similar country by the same types of people...
It's not, but go ahead being uninformed.
Anonymous wrote:Yes, the slides are horrible looking. They also said if you didn’t buy them, you would still be charged $50….

Total waste of money—both Maryland United and the clothing.

We somehow got lucky and missed when they mandated this... they were not part of the main uniform purchase (at least for us). I didn't even know there was an order put in until they were handing them out... so no overpriced slides for us
