I'm not sure how we're defining a regular person, but my most-beautiful-on-earth vote would be a toss-up between Southeast Alaska and Tsitsikamma National Park in South Africa. Both have the dramatic mountains-to-water transition.

Closer to home, Doyles River Falls.

-Sahara desert at night with shooting stars

I love Rio. It really is one of a kind. The tropical forest, mountains, beaches. And the people. Brazil has a lot of beautiful places that are breath taking...Iguaçu, Lençois Maranhenses, Bonito, Chapada Diamantina National Park.

Also came here to say the Badlands.

The Badlands are amazing. Like the landscape of an alien world.

The Antrim coast is lovely. So much of Ireland just absolutely beautiful. One of my favorite trips.

I agree with the others on your list I've seen (I haven't been to Asia), but, yes, Harper's Ferry also deserves to be on this list.
