OP here, I am not reviewing my posts but he was at a dryland practice (he normally works out daily at the aquatic center with the school team) on a school field as it’s the end of the school year and competing high school swim teams have a fun ultimate frisbee game next week. My son left his keys in his bag in the field.
Does that clear up your question.
This makes no sense as swim for school is a winter sport. It isn't happening in May.
While swim is a winter sport, some schools practice year round.

My son was recently at soccer practice where the coach requires all bags in a certain spot by the field. A thief went through and stole multiple phones from the bags. The parent of the thief found the phones and there were consequences for the thief, not my son.
Quit victim blaming.
