Tell yourself whatever you need to so you can sleep at night, but life is more nuanced than that. Young or old, most women are looking for a man who is stable and a good provider, especially in this economy with a recession looming. If the married dad still looks pretty good, is affable and wealthy, his age and marital status will be ignored.
This has been a long loom.
Frankly, if you bring a young, gorgeous woman into your home and put her in front of your husband multiple days per week... you're playing with fire. Most husbands love their wives and aren't inclined to cheat, but human beings are flawed.

Yeah, no. Hot 40-something guys are still very attractive to young women (remember that crush you had on your college professor?). But if it makes you feel better to think that your “joke” of a husband is really a “catch,” by all means go for it.

Huh? Most men with very young children aren't middle aged.
In the DC area they are. Assuming we are considering 40 as middle aged.

She wasn’t an au pair. An American couple sponsored her to finish high school in the US and stay with them. She repaid the favor by banging the husband and dumping him for Rupert Murdoch.
I think there were a few men between the husband and Murdoch as she traded her way up tax brackets![]()

Anonymous wrote:Well, I am an host dad in Scandinavia. Our family have hosted 5 American girls. I have had affairs with two of them. I guess American girls are more eager to have affairs with middle age europeen men. The girls have been in age 20-21 and for me my first affair was when I was 42. The last was when I had turn 50. Was it just one time? No, the affairs startet after a couple of months and keept going on during their whole stay (up till 1 year). One of the girl from Texas i have visited 3 times in US.... years after our first seduction...

I feel like the less attractive women are a bigger issue because they’re the ones willing to sleep with your DH. Really attractive young women don’t want anything to do with middle aged married men. They can find a hot, rich single man.

I don’t know any hot, rich guy in DC that would date an au pair.
