It is when you lead a grievance group.
I find it annoying, why does she get his ear? and why does he give her his valuable time?
I also find it annoying that our "22 years young" candidate has zero connections in the community.
Yes. I think it's a plus to hear that Miranda has been meeting with Duran regularly. Sounds like she has a relationship there.
It seems inequitable to me. Why does one interest group get the ear of the superintendent?
does everyone have this access?

I assume any group could ask to meet. Have they? I don't love everything about him, but he gives the impression of paying attention to different community interests. I think that would extend to meeting with any group that asked. And maybe others do meet with him. I have no idea. Bu I think it's good if she does have a relationship with him since it looks like she will be our next SB member.

Not sure what kind of relationship it is given the earlier posts about how she and her APE friends made fun of him during Covid.

He’s definitely confident.
Lol yes. He does have that going for him.
What do you think he did wrong, since you seem so against him?
DP; but he's all surface and little depth. He talks very little about actual learning and instruction. Screams "POLITICIAN" - and not a thing about him indicates LOCAL SCHOOL BOARD.
So exactly like the current school board then. Sounds like he would fit right in!
I think we’re on the cusp of having a much better school board. Mary is very good and Bethany is showing promise. I think Angelo would be more CDT-style with little substance and lots of platitudes. MT is obviously more qualified and not afraid to put herself out there and hold APS feet to the fire. if she’s elected, the three of them could get a lot done and really make APS better.
