Does anyone know which school these kids go to?
I haven’t seen a single article or school announcement about the incident that details the school nor how the children are doing, etc.
This has a video clip from Fox 5. Evidently there was another community meeting at WL. Parents who were interviewed said the school had not notified parents regarding the overdoses. Fox 5 also reported that the condition of the children remains unknown.
Outrageous that details of this very serious public safety issue isn’t being communicated to anyone.

Parents are saying the kids are crying out for help.

W-L students were also drinking and caught drunk at 9:30 am over there, skipping school.
The drug use at Ballston and near fatal dose is being reported as WL kids too.
Two kids needed Narcan and one was in cardiac arrest.
APS and its parents need to wake up and address this overabundance of substance abuse--during school hours, no less.
How is it that one Arlington middle school mental health counselor has a case load of 25 students??? Public Schools set set up for failure. Shame on the school board and each of you who voted for them. This is on you.
Can you explain your comment? Our MS only has a handful of counselors/psychologists/social workers. Way more than 25 kids per professional.

It’s right in that one arlnow article originally posted (unless they since edited it out). They were WL students. But it’s an issue at all of the high schools.
Exactly. Same with ALL high schools.

This happened at an Arlington County parking garage during school hours. [/quote

But not at an Arlington school, plus it involves minors who have their own right to privacy.

Shut up. No one is asking for their names.

And Nancy Regan "JUST SAY NO!" Drug-free zones.
I was scared to try anything!
