No it's not, they're ranked the same.

Nope, not true. WashU (Olin) ranked top 10 undergrad business schools for 2023, not Emory (Goizueta)
Did you even click the link?
https://poetsandquantsforundergrads.com/rankings/poetsquants-best-undergraduate-business-schools-of-2023/ WashU top 10
https://www.niche.com/colleges/search/best-colleges-for-business/ WashU #5, Emory#29
Why would I use niche or that over site over USnews lol. What's the point of reaching? WashU doesn't make the top 30 for Investment banking placement
regardless.

Emory places more people into Wall Street and generally has a better reputation within business/finance
That is not true. I worked on wall street for 20 years and never met one person from Emory.
Anonymous wrote:For what it's worth my nephew transferred from Emory to Michigan b/c there wasn't enough school spirit at Emory and sports. with that said, my sister loved Emory. though it was a lovely, well run school.

Anonymous wrote:Emory is in a much better city than WashU. And although WashU is higher ranked, I feel Emory is more well known.

In what way? What is Tulane better than Emory at doing?
Tulane is better at enrolling students of the Jewish faith (41%) compared to WUSTL (26%) and Emory (17%)--although the Emory percentage seems low--especially at the law school.
What do the Jews have to do with prestige. Emorys white population is relatively low overall 33% give or take so the Jewish population would also be low.
Jewish posters may consider that among factors that make a school prestigious. I have read that Jewish people are the most intelligent culture/religion/heritage so a high percentage of Jewish students suggest that the academic standards are high.
