The moral of the story is don’t have children unless you are two married law partners in offices on K St NW or the grandparents are so wealthy that they can foot the bill. Everyone else, bye.
Or you can send your kids to public school like 90% of American families.
Then they might mix with the Poors. God forbid my darling little princess start dating a middle class minority- that would be too scandalous to even consider.
Then why aren’t you teaching public school if you need such a huge raise? Don’t you know that public schools pay teachers more?
Also, what makes you think that public school kids are poor? Have you ever been in a public school building?

Sidwell (includes lunch) $55,140
GDS (doesn’t include lunch) $51k
Maret (includes lunch) $46,230
Potomac $48,988 (lunch?)
NCS (includes lunch) $53,208
Thanks OP.
I thought GDS was the most overpriced school in DC and this proves it.

My kids are in middle school but I also don’t worry about us to be able to foot the bill for the rest of their K-12 private plus college.
My DC is graduating this year, so it’s not my problem anymore. How about yours?

Anonymous wrote:Bullis is $57,500!!! How can they possibly charge more than Sidwell? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA No nice looking campus is worth paying that much for a mediocre school. That’s some nerve.

I know they have a new cafeteria space opening up next year. Wondering if any current SSSAS upper school parents can chime in on that? I know it seems ridiculous to even consider whether lunch is included, but every little bit matters sometimes! It's a big deal to us.
