My DC has similar stats, got in, but DC is away and just said "got in". No communication after that.
My son ever got an email which was sickening but decision was in the portal
so the portal shows honors?

This is not true- You are accepted or rejected from the school first. Then they admit to LEP (Limited Enrolled Programs) so your child can be accepted into UMD and not admitted into Comp Scie, Business and Engineering as a freshman.
Assuming admission to UMCP does the LEP decision come at the saner one or is there a further wait?
