Agree. I always stand/greet a non-household guest. I always offer food/drink and a seat.

But there are tons of people who are poor yet they share what they have with guests and strangers even. Not being willing to share with your own family is what is odd here. Is scarcity mindset selective? Are there other factors that differentiate?

As a comparison for rate of consumption, the same size box was purchased for the obgyn's practice.
