The great majority of DC public schools enroll 0% Asians, including all 3 of the Ward 6 DCPS programs currently. We are the minority group without confidence in DCPS programs EotP past elementary. Nobody cares.

There are not enough kids of all backgrounds to create diverse schools proportionally reflective of our overall society across the city. That's why people flock to some schools and not others.

Do you think it makes sense to try to find a school district where the schools, or at least the ones your kids will go to, reflect the distribution of race found in the general population in this country? Or perhaps they should reflect the distribution of race in the jurisdiction they draw from. If that's the case then I think if one chooses to live in that jurisdiction why would they then complain about the school population reflecting the area populaton?
