Lots has been said already but let me add my hahahaha to the pile. They do not care about class sizes and, when your kid is older, they won’t care about overcrowding. They are planning to build a new HS building and keep AC at 5000 kids (one of the largest HSs in the country). Be prepared for a pleothra of other things they don’t care about—mold in buildings, bullying, special needs, whether dual language kids ever learn the second language.

Sorry you chose ACPS. Move to Arlington or go private. ACPS has been a mess for decades. APS really is better than ACPS on average, and from Arlington it is still easy to take Metro or drive to DC.
