It would be better to tear down all the SFH housing in NW and turn them into rowhouses.

Best idea of the whole thread.
Nah. I think we raise your rent to levels in ward 3 new Wegmans area instead. The destruction of SFH will never happen. But keep harping on it instead of thinking of viable options for you to buy a home. It will work out.

Oregon Avenue at Military Road, across the street from St John’s College HS is an open grass field on high ground and flat land. Perfect for development.
No. It’s perfect for recreation. Try your “Trump Growth” flackery somewhere else.
There is no “recreation” happening there, you can see for yourself. Stop being silly.

Anonymous wrote:This whole GGWash New Urbanist stuff is crap. I'm fine with adding housing but not at the expense of everything. They would gladly turn everything within the bounds of DC into soulless pillars of concrete and steel. Parks and green space are needed for many reasons - livability, for helping abate stormwater, and a thousand other reasons.

When I was a kid there was a city run day camp run out of that area. Once every two weeks all the kids in the camp would spend the night on that field. It was first time I ever sptent the night outside. But yeah....develop it.
