I'm all for ways to decrease the rate of abortions being sought that are actually effective. Are you?

That being said, I think I can agree that blatant abortions for reasons other than health and viability are concerning to me! My mom aborted before me because she felt pressured being unmarried and deeply regretted it the rest of her life.
So sad. Didn’t your mom realize most likely you wouldn’t exist without her earlier abortion?
We would, she then married my dad and decided how many kids she wanted herself. But it’s irreversible. She was young and influenced by family who handled it for her and my dad caved too. It’s a familial secret tragedy she only shared with me recently.
Not likely. It would have changed her path completely. She probably wouldn't have married your dad.

This. The most “pro-life” peeps are the same ones who want to limit access to contraception. Why isn’t plan B OTC by now, for starters.
You’re an idiot. The GOP has been trying to make birth control pills OTC for years. The dems are the ones against it since it takes away their “republicans don’t like birth control” narrative. It’s all about politics for the left. They couldn’t care less about women.

As an 18 year old, I didn’t know what to make of it all. And ever since it’s been a very difficult for me say whether I’m for or against abortion.
