Yes, I get that all organized religions are like socially acceptable cults but it's so much fun to "belong" to something where everyone likes you (or is at least nice to you). Scientology, Catholicism, Evangelism, Puritanism, Quaker, Shaker, Shinto, Buddhism, Muslim, Atheism. They are all awesome cultures inside our own culture and I love ALL the diversity.
The only thing that upsets me a little is that some of these beautiful cultures are disappearing (Hawaiian and American Indian) and others are taking over so the ENTIRE reason that they were so awesome (diversity) no longer applies.
I wish I was a practicing Jew so I could help the diversity because I know Judaism is a dying religion but I just don't have the energy (and I'm a rationalist). Oh well. I hope the next gen revives these cool religions.

But the theology in Judaism is so much more rich and stimulating. That’s a tough one. I’m going to go with Jewish because there seems to be much more freedom to practice how you want and pick and choose which laws to follow without being shunned.
The thread title says Orthodox Judaism. Not a lot of picking and choosing there.

This. For me. Absolutely.
Plus, bacon wrapped scallops.

Is this a fun game for everyone? Really? You think no one you're demonizing is reading this, ever?
I wish they would take their colonizing mindset and shove it!
