Onions and garlic smell. Same with eggs. Are we not allowed to bring food with those items either? Fish is healthy and doesn't smell.
Ok Karen.

Lightly[b] fried tuna
Uh, it smells NASTY. Absolutely soul crushingly nasty. Keep that sh$t at home. There are hundreds of non stinky non beef things she can eat at work that doesn't offend her coworkers and make the entire break room smell like the tide is out.Anonymous wrote:I don't see what's wrong with fish. And I can't believe your coworker has it EVERY day. That room must have a permanent odor. If HR won't do anything, maybe you can start bringing Durians for lunch.
OP here,
I brought beef this whole week and I microwave it in the share kitchen for 10 minutes. Left it on the table next to co-workers lunch again. She went to the restroom to wash your her hands before eating her nasty fish again. Coworker doesn't eat beef for religion reason or something but she will eat fish Monday through Friday morning and lunch. I'm not fond of beef myself, I had some fruits and hummus sandwich in my office.
She actually had the nerve to report to HR that someone is making her uncomfortable at lunch time. She hasn't figured out who has been leaving their beef next to her lunch yet. So far most of my coworkers are eating in their office, cubicle, or just leaving the building for lunch.
OP, this is workplace harassment. Doing things like this on purpose, despite the fact you feel helpless amd are trying to make a point, are grounds for termination.
Really? I have unlimited email from HR and they have not done anything to this lady. I am not the only one to complain about the smell.
What is unlimited email?

If your coworkers can leave the building for lunch, why don't you do this? I find the smell of fast food nauseating, but that doesn't mean I have the right to tell people not to bring fast food into the office. Or could you move to a desk in another part of the office?
I like bringing my own food and eating in the kitchen or my office. Why should one person control the whole office because she does not know how to follow rules and regulation when it comes to sharing a kitchen with everyone. I'm making recommendations to management to shut down the kitchen.
