So far, just Firefly and Star Trek (working our way through TNG with the kids). We'll probably add Ted Lasso to that list.

I can only watch sitcoms again. I watch them for the laughs.

I'm PP and I agree that we don't rewatch in the same way now. Just that we are in the habit of turning to comfort series from infancy. I watch a bunch of series like The Wire and VEEP, and Netlix GBBO or Bridgerton for the same comfort.

I‘ve watched VEEP probably 10 times. It’s never not funny! As much as I liked Seinfeld back in the day, this show was *made* for Julia Louis-Dreyfus and it’s a crime that it didn’t get more awards.

This is a weird question for Gen-X who grew up in the 1970s, where our afternoons were spent watching so many reruns of series. Everything from Adam-12, the Monkees, The Brady Bunch, I Love Lucy, The Odd Couple.

I couldn't even tell you how many times I have seen every episode of Friends. Mostly because it is in reruns all the time. It is the show I put on while I work during the day in the background. It is comfortable.

When I was younger and watching reruns on TV after school, I saw Taxi several times through. And Cheers. And Family Ties. And Wings.

I recently discovered Night Court on IMDbTV and was overjoyed. That is another one I watched reruns of when I was younger (and I think it was on NickatNight at one point?)

Buffy played on FX in my 20s in the morning and evening. So I have seen it many times that way.

More recently, I rebinged Schitt's Creek and Good Place a few times. And during the Pandemic, I have rewatched Raising Hope.

I honestly don't rewatch series over and over and over again the way some do because there are so many OTHER series to watch. I can't keep up with all the stuff I am interested in.

Would love to see this series for the FIRST time. But there are music rights issues that have prevented its being re-run or streamed so far. If you know a way to see it, please advise!

I have what I think is a legal DVD set of NE (purchased a loong time ago). But even the DVD set does not have the music of the original series — and I’ve heard is a big loss.

PP from above -- thank you. That encourages me to try the DVDs. So many bootlegs out there of 1990s-early 2000s series that don't stream (I'm looking for others too).

I had heard that the original music was stripped off and replaced, which seems a pity, since friends have said that the songs used were often comments on NE's themes each week. It's so strange and silly that music rights like that can keep a great, older show off of streaming and reruns. "WKRP in Cincinnati" had similar issues on reruns (you can tell they've replaced some songs). Thanks again. I do hope to see NE soon.
