Have you never lived somewhere with skunks?

I am 49 and I agree the smell has always been bad, there is just more of it now and it is more intense. Smokers never seem to be able to smell themselves, it is especially bad in sweaters and their hair. I always take strong coffee into meetings to breathe when I have to meet them in person.
Your strong coffee smells too. You are a hypocrite that simply favors your own drug of choice.
Have you ever managed to smell the coffee of the driver in front of you?
Nope but I smell the coffee shop and the coffee roasting operation stinks up the whole block. I can also smell the car itself that is in front of me. None of that is illegal and I don’t see you making post after post about car emissions. Hm. Wonder why?

In my teens/20s/30s it smelled like cat nip. The smell has definitely changed.
And I smell it all over the DMV, even driving with my windows up!
Marijuana has been bred or “hybridized” to be far far more potent today.

Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Good lord with all the bad info on here. How good or bad the weed is has nothing to do with it. It has to do with what sulfuric compounds are in a particular plant.
Indica strains are predominantly the culprits for the stronger skunky smells. Sativa tends to be a sweeter, woody smell. Indica weed is good for relaxing you so it’s often used for anxiety, stress, sleep problems, etc. And for pain. Sativa produces and more energetic high.
Why do people notice more of a skunky smell now than they remember from years ago? Probably a couple of reasons - the popularity of several Kush strains over the past 20-30 years, which are Indica. And also because medical marijuana prescriptions are for Indica strains than Sativa ones
What irony.
You criticize “bad info” then proceed to use a racist term.
