Agree. DC is just not going to put up with this. And rightly so.
What will you be doing about it?
DP - I’ve got an aluminum baseball bat, and will not hesitate to use it on the horn and windshield of any truck blowing it near my condo. That’s what I’ll be doing about it.
Mighty big words. I imagine these truckers are packing heat. Reminds me of a friend talking trash in New Orleans during a bowl game. He started stuff with some locals who asked him, hey, wait, you packing? Let's just say it sobered him up right quick. I wouldn't want to mess with these truckers. Let the local/regional government handle them.
Packing heat in DC? MPD will be very interested to hear that.
Not even the Jan. 6 crowd dared that.

Idiots.
They are doing the beltway on purpose if you read the stories because they do not want to go into DC and deal with the security issues.
They will never make it in to dc. That's a pipe dream. If they do get it, it will not go well for them.
I thought this about January 6, 2021 as well. But apparently if you look the right way you can smash your way into anywhere and live to tell about it.
They do not plan to go into DC. Beltway only.
1. They may never get here. At least not in numbers.
2. If they do and they want to protest and get arrested in an act of civil protest -- great. That is what America is all about.
3. They are not going to camp out for a long time on the beltway.
4. This is all a BIG NOTHING. People just need to relax.

Anonymous wrote:I guess the truckers don't realize that the locals, and the local truckers who supply food etc from the distributors, all know how to get around without using the beltway.
Sad.
