No you don't. Community school = school spread. Omicron is 10 times more transmissible than Delta. It's not up for debate that Omicron spreads in schools, particularly during the elbow-to-elbow unmasked lunch.

DP, but Omicron spread in absolute terms is not the issue. The issue is whether the consequences of Omicron spread *specific to schools* outweighs the (massive) negative consequences of virtual learning to kids.

No, you don't either. My husband is a doctor, and he sees the hospital saturation, WHICH KILLS PEOPLE, through poor standard of care. MD hospitals are now immune from lawsuits because of the emergency order. You can die of your car accident or heart attack, PP, without any kind of compensation, because Covid patients are clogging up the hospitals because you were concerned about anxiety and depression and didn't want to close schools. Saving lives is more important than anything else.
