Sorry but what is there to celebrate about her? Her character was shallow, materialistic, unhealthy (with the chain smoking and borderline alcoholism), gold digging while being a financial mess, high maintenance, and annoying. The fact that she was fashionable and had an arguably interesting sex column may be redeeming to some, but she is not a role model and I am sad that people see her as one.
I hope you are not serious! You just did a judgmental assessment of the character she played on SATC when the thread is actually about what the actress SJP looks like! Then you said you are sad people see "her" as a role model. Who? SJP or Carrie and her chain smoking and gold digging?

Why are you judging SJP's looks? You don't think she should have been in SATC because you don't think she's pretty enough? Only pretty ladies should be able to be on TV and in movies? I assume you are so much prettier than SJP and this is of major importance to you?

Besides I thinks she's nice looking, fashionable, and fit the part perfectly.
