Fruit, vegetables, whole grains, dairy, cereal without added sugar, eggs, lower-fat meat...the same things that aren't crap anywhere.
My son worked at a produce distribution warehouse this past summer. They would receive produce in and then package it for different stores. The same produce that came in would be placed in different packaging for different store. So that great produce you bought at Trader Joes is the exact same produce you will get at Aldi and Giant.

Are you buying the cheapest Happy Farms or whatever? Because I just had a wedge of crumbly aged Irish cheddar that was delicious. Look for the “Select” stuff. The goat cheese is also perfectly good.

I used to go to ALDI but now I'm all about LIDL. Love the baked good. The one near me is large so that there's none of that crowded feel you get in ALDI or Trader Joe's. And while the stock changes frequently it's often very high quality.

Sure, it has some gems, but it is designed for poor people. Poor people always get fed dog food.
Woah, no. And I hope you’re making a big fat donation to a food pantry this season. Like many people, true poverty looks very different from regular shopping at Aldi.
True poor people food is dollar general/tree. Nothing fresh. Smaller sizes, all the cans are pop top because people might not have a can opener moving quickly between places or on the street.
Until recently, Aldi was cash only. Someone once told me they couldn’t shop there because of that - they didn’t always have enough cash at the end of the month.
Aldi is for thrifty people, many of whom are wealthy because they are thrifty.
I have shopped there for several years and it was never cash only.

I've never been to the Aldi at Georgia and Seminary, but the one up at Cherry Hill is pretty meh. Is the Ga Ave location any better?

NP but fine by me. I personally don’t want to be eating a giant pot of homemade beef stew that cost less than $10 dollars. I’m also very happy to pay more than $1.99 or whatever you’re paying for “regular” eggs.
You actually think there are designer eggs? Really? You are implying there is something wrong with the eggs at the discount stores? You are not intelligent.
