Why can't anyone answer my question?
Here’s an answer to your disingenuous question that you’re trying to use to call out transgenderism: it’s not okay to pretend to be another race.
NP
I didn’t read it as the PP calling out trandgenderism. It’s a valid question - why is identifying as a different gender ok but identifying as a different race not?
You'll have to take up this question with world history, considering lots civilizations across millennia have had varying forms of transgenderism or cross-dressing and it was deemed socially acceptable in certain contexts.
Meanwhile, the only times you've had people trying to cosplay a different ethnicity was when it gave them a sense of safety (see: "passing" by light skinned black people during the slavery & Jim Crow eras, Jewish people during the Holocaust, etc) or in ways that were fundamentally rooted in disrespect and stereotyping (see: black face on the stage/TV).
The history of world societies has treated transgenderism differently from ethnic cosplay. The world isn't fair. Deal with it.

Watch some video clips from The Voice. The pictures on instagram are makeup/filters/posing.
Definitely not. You sound really clueless. Her eyefolds are pretty much completely gone now. Do you have any knowledge about plastic surgery?
Do you have any knowledge about makeup and instagram filters? Clearly not.
You think this is an instagram filter?! On the cover of Vogue?
OMG... this is why boomers need to just not comment on these things. So cringe, so clueless. Just comical.
I think you need to go back to your school work and work on reading comprehension
And I think you need to get some new bifocals, granny

That’s not really AG, right?
That is her!
What's with her pink hair?
Lol, the pink hair person is not Ariana Grande
Yep, that's Oli London, another white person with surgery to look asian. Ari is on the left
This London child is a hot mess. Like clearly disturbed. At what point is it wrong to gawk at someone who is ill?
Yeah. He's a pretty controversial figure but does have his fanbase online. I'm not sure if it's a gimmick or what. He's trying to look like Jimin from BTS
He had a whole fake wedding to a cardboard cutout of Jimin. He’s cray cray.

It's not a disingenuous question that I'm using to call out transgenderism. Why is it not okay to pretend to be another race? What makes ethnicity so sacrosanct? Why is it not okay to experiment this way? What makes it so bad? Why are people so upset by what she is doing?

So just to be clear, you are confused why people have a problem with blackface and the like?
People who put of blackface were not identifying as black people. Completely different.
Playing dress up as a different race? Nah, it’s the same.
Then so is playing dress up as a different gender.
Lol, thanks for confirming my initial point — your argument is all about your problem with transgender people 👍
PP didn’t make the point you wish they were making. It’s a valid question that no one has yet to answer. Why is that?
Gender and sexuality are fluid. Race and ethnicity are not. This is the answer to your question, but I know you won’t accept it.
Decided who exactly? This is totally arbitrary. Gender is actual physically and scientifically distinguishable whereas race and ethnicity are not. Really. This is a valid question by PP. I didn’t think of it in this light but it does seem wrong that people aren’t allowed to look however they want - no matter what that is. Why is race, which is a social construct, and in fact therefore totally fluid, not okay but gender, which has real physical DNA markers, okay? Why aren’t both okay?
